The Co-op/Self-help Enterprise Model

A model of enterprise explains the underlying logic of a form of enterprise and crucially, provides leaders, managers, and all decision-makers with a clear-cut framework to guide them in the day-to-day running of their enterprise. This video outlines the model of enterprise required to run successful co-ops and all other types of self-help enterprises. Success, means that the enterprise achieves its purpose, carries out its true function, is viable, sustainable, serves its members, and remains under democratic member control. This model of enterprise is fit-for-purpose for use in the self-help form of enterprise because it supports the delivery of what members want from their enterprise.
